American Song Competition:

The Hampsong Foundation and the American Composers Forum are collaborating on a competition to encourage young composers to create works for voice utilizing new treatments of traditional American songs.

New Song Literature by Major American Composers and Poets:

A leading American composer will be commissioned to write new songs based on texts of a major American poet. To be premiered over the course of the Song of America Project.
